Art Walk | September 2010

There are three shows you simply must NOT miss this weekend.

RUTA: 2010
9.10.10
Bakehouse Art Complex
Audrey Love Gallery
7 PM to 10 PM
http://www.bacfl.org/

Now this is a big deal. This is an international show exhibiting over 100 artists from 18 countries. So if your looking for culture...look no further. This exhibit is honoring Mexico's Bicentennial of its Independence from Spain in 1810.

The show is a collaboration of Bakehouse Art Complex, Latin American Art Consulting and will be inaugurated by the Mexican Ambassador, Juan Miguel Gutierrez Tinico. This will be history, culture, art and...open bar and free parking! Be there and be fly.

INNER ARTIST III
9.11.10
Plant the Future
2511 NW 2nd Ave
Miami, FL
7 PM to 12 AM
Ever get inspired at an art show before...well at this show you can express it! This is a different show than you've ever been to before.  It is a buzzing, interactive, mingling of artists and those who enjoy it. Not only can you enjoy the art that is on exhibit...you can paint it yourself!

The artists create sketches on canvas, provide paint and tools, and you get to enjoy their art and create your own version of the art. Some of the artists showing are: Inner Artist Founders Pablo Ricatti, Alex Barrera and Sergio Quinonez, and some guest artists, Alex Yanes and Joy Taylor.

TYPOE | BANG BANG. | SOLO EXHIBTION
9.11.10
Spinello Gallery
155 NE 38th St. No. 101
Miami, FL

This show is full of dark, punk-like, mixed media creations. Spinello Gallery and David glass have put the exhibit together highlighting TYPOE, BANG BANG's "violent and poetic" style. Very interesting and moving stuff. So if you want to check out this show you can have your main course here and then have dessert at Panic Bomber's Crystal Castles Concert at Grand Central...
just saying.
